(February 01, 2009) Real San Jose is owned and operated by Nicholas (Nick) Arellano. Arellano holds a Bachelor of Science Business Administration (Management) from San Jose State University and a Masters Degree in Multicultural Teaching from National University. He has been actively involved in San Jose soccer since graduating from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1976.

Nick Arellano, Owner/Manager He has been, and is currently, a successful soccer coach having won championships at the adult amateur, youth, high school, and community college levels. Arellano is currently in his 9th year as head coach (boys) at Mount Pleasant High School, where his teams have won league championships in his first three seasons at the school and have qualified for postseason play eight years. Arellano guided the Cardinals to a forth championship in 2008-09. In 2004 Arellano was head soccer coach (men) at Evergreen Valley College where he guided the school to its only Championship and National ranking.

Arellano's soccer writing experience began in 1988 when he founded Soccer Magic Magazine that was dedicated to promoting the Northern California Soccer Community. He has written about all aspects of the soccer community and has covered soccer matches ranging from recreational to World Class. With the emergence of the Internet, he later founded SoccerMagic.com and QuakeMagic.com with the sole purpose to promote soccer in the San Jose area.

Arellano lives in San Jose with his wife Norma and three sons Nico, Alex, and Jonathan.
